That's why small towns remain small I guess.donhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13943762436600028853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28181037.post-1162347051030258842006-10-31T18:10:00.000-08:002006-10-31T18:10:00.000-08:00Thompson Falls is a very friendly place. No wonder the people are happy.

But I get the feeling that (some) of the kids don't embrace the values of their parents. Some move away for education and the call of the world. I wonder about those who stay.donhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13943762436600028853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28181037.post-1162308222025375752006-10-31T07:23:00.000-08:002006-10-31T07:23:00.000-08:00I enjoyed your post today Don. Small towns have a way of reminding us that COMMUNITY is a feeling and not just a real estate developer's dream for making millions.

I have to admit, I sometimes prefer the anonymity of the big city (and the Internet) but if I'm lonely I head straight back to the small town from which I came.

By the way, I am very wary of people who practice their most contemptuous glares at the people in their immediate physical vicinity while smiling sweetly into the mouthpiece of their Motorola. Their duplicity frightens me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
