Fall at Flathead

I love being at Flathead Lake any time of the year but fall is really nice. It's like a breath of fresh air after a hot dry summer. Those picnic tables are going to be vacant for several months now. How I wish I could transport myself there at lunch on any given day. There's just never enough time to be all the places you want to be.

The trick is finding the correct balance of satisfaction out of the time you do have, whether that be at work, with family or loved ones, or at play. The first person to invent the transporter will be the richest person ever in existence. The sad part is that no-one will be able to afford to use it. So I guess it comes back down to finding happiness wherever and whenever you can.

The sun looks beautiful, lighting up the leaves as it is.. as it does there in that magical place.

That's the way our yard looks too. This evening we cleaned up some twigs from our elm trees in the chiminea and ate chili in our coats outside in front of the fire. There's still some good outside time before we strap on the skis.

That chili sounds nice. I have a bunch of brush I could burn also.
