I noticed a pine tree in Montana that was in bloom. Soon yellow pine pollen will be floating in Flathead Lake and the other northwest mountain lakes. It's an image I've known my whole life, that yellow stuff floating in the lakes and sometimes it can be seen at a distance floating in the air above the trees.

I've always thought these were cool. You have to be at the right place at the right time I guess. And I don't seem to be alergic to pine pollen.

They are all over the place right now on the pine trees.
