Here's a picture of Flathead Lake that I took this morning as I chatted on the beach with my neighbor. We were talking water pumps and stuff like that. Now and then I turn and take a snapshot. How I wish I could enjoy this view all of the time like he does.

That is really lovely. I like how clear the water is.
Thanks Diane, the water is way down right now so those rocks are usually in pretty deep water. The rocks closer to the summer beach line are much more colorful.
Oh Man... Don, that's totally superb. An exact mirror image, with the lake sooo calm... it's absolutely stunning!!! Wow! No wonder you love it there so much!
Smells good too.
I LOVE the smell of lake. I wonder though if it smells different there than it does here... different water, different minerals in it, different plants around it. Hmmm.
It smells different. It's the only one that smells like it does.
