Rocking out

I took the day off today and went skiing. I called in to my dentist and had them move up my cleaning a day to Wednesday as I knew Thursday was going to be a clear, calm and sunny.

It was the best day skiing for me this year as the snow is now deep enough, groomed and no crowds so I could go as fast as I wanted all day with nobody in the way. All of my other days so far have been snow, fog, and you name it. But today was perfect. I'm really getting back in the groove again now and feeling the center of the skis. I was rocking out with my new MP3 player.

Nice day! :)

What do you mean "best skiing this year"??? We've only had 7 or 8 days of it! ;) (I know what you mean, but I gotta pull your leg, you know that!)

Great shot Don. Glad you had a great time. We are just getting into the groove here; went NY's eve day. Next stop - Boomer's Friday only 20 bucks.

Thanks, I noticed you were at Lookout. I've been by there a few times this season but couldn't stop and ski yet.

My ex-girlf got hit one time by a snowboarder with me watching from down below. I was surprised she didn't get seriously hurt. He hit her from behind like a linebacker and she never saw it coming. She was just down on the slope and wasn't getting up. It took me a while to get back up to her and she finally came back to life and was ok. But it ruined our day.

That really does look amazing. I can see why you're in love with it. I love all components of this photo too.. something about the blueness of the sky with the white wispy clouds and then the trees on the white snow that makes me smile.

Thank you Jules, When I noticed those clouds I knew I wanted a picture. I could see the puffs of snow as the skiers turned. I wanted that too.
