Logan Pass photo

I don't remember this rock being where it is above Logan Pass back when we used ski up here in the spring. It must have fallen off of the hill above and come to rest in this location. If you click on it and make it bigger just to the left of the rock are some little things that look like sticks. Those are people on the snow field below.

Woow! I love those and I love how you pointed out the little people! That really puts the height into perspective. That was one of the nicest days ever, high up, solitary.. felt like the world was ours.

Yes it was pretty darn nice. I don't think it gets much nicer up there actually with the warm sun and cool breeze off of the snow.

Thanks, yes it was nice, that night there was a brief thunder storm but I think it had more of an impact on the Flathead. It kept us off of the kayaks that night. And we did get rain earlier in the week one night at Farragut State Park in Idaho, but that was nice to hear at night on the roof of the camper. I slept well that night.
