Idaho skiing pictures

It has been a pretty good ski season so far. Winter can be pretty long in the northwest so you might as well take up skiing or snowboarding if you live in snow country and make the best of it. If you can't get out, you can come here to my blog and see what it's been like. Here are some of my latest skiing pictures.

It often looks cool and I'm always getting my camera out to take pictures while I ski or ride the chairlift. Everyone enjoys the views even if they stay on the easy trails.

And everyone gets a good workout and lots of fresh air.

Very pretty!

It was clear where I went skiing on Christmas Eve. I don't have the photos yet, when I get them I'll send them to you.

Wooooow... I super love photo number 2 in this bunch. It looks like everyone has a great time. I love how the people in the third photo are all tilted in action.

I live in snow country. On a nice warm winter day, I love winter. The beauty of it gets even better when it's actually warm enough to stay outside. Christmas Day here was outstanding, we could be outside without coats on on the sledding hill. I wish all of our winter days were like that. If that were the case, I'd be outside every day enjoying all the winter fun activities. But it's just no fun when you've only been outside for 10 minutes and you already can't feel your extremities! LOL

I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures Diane! I think it's great you went skiing. I'd like to know how you did too.

Yes it's no fun when it's really cold Jules, My hands and feet are the worst. Once my feet get cold I have to stop and warm them up. There isn't enough room for those warmer things.

Awesome! I miss those humongous trees and big skies and long views of the West. Thanks for sharing! I have yet to ski in Vermont (other than cross country). Having lived in Colorado for much of my life, it has been a transition to think of Vermont as a place for alpine skiing. But this winter there's a good possibility I will be on the slopes going down. I'll have to take some photos of our more subtle but beautiful views to share.

Wishing you a fantastic 2011, Don. :)

A lot of good skiers come from back east and I'm sure it is beautiful in Vermont. I've skied in Utah but not Colorado. I hope you make it out on skis, XC or alpine.

Montana is known as the "Big Sky Country".

Hope you have a great new year too!

Oh, very nice. It's been great skiing so far this season. Crystalline snow and everything...

Yes the views have been nice. There's enough snow now however. It can clear off for a while now if it wants!
