Flathead Lake spring picture

I decided to add this photo (above) to this post. I took it from out in the canoe as night fell on Flathead Lake. My hands got cold as I made my way back to the cabin.
Since the doctor said I can't ski this weekend due to my thumb injury, I decided to go to the lake and take the canoe out for the first time this year. It was supposed to rain and be nasty but it was clear and nice out. Here's a picture of the bay on Flathead Lake as the sun went down. He was a great doctor BTW. Didn't charge me to look at it again after he sewed it all up. That meant a lot to me. I'm already playing the mandolin again. (not very well..) Hey, I need my thumb for that!.. and many other things actually.

Ohhhhh... that is a stunning photo! Wow... looks so much different than last time you were there just a couple of weeks ago!

I'm trying to decide whether I'm jealous that you're there, or just wishing I was! lol

What other things do you miss doing since your thumb injury?

It ended up snowing. I'm gaining back the use of my thumb now. It is stiff though. I can use a pick again and play the mandolin so things are getting back to normal.

You're blog just made me audibly say "WOW".

The darker it got the camera started to shift blue but I just left it because I liked the way it looked.

Gorgeous. That's our collective lake at it's most basic level - a spring sunset. We have a thwart to repair on Raven but we hopefully will have it out this weekend...

It's a pretty lake, and there are lots of interesting places along the shore.
