Cedar trees

Here's a picture of some Cedar trees in Idaho. They usually aren't in the water like this but it's been raining a lot lately.

It really seems strange to see the trees standing in water. Looks like a photo taken down south in a bayou. Wrong vegetation of course.

It was really raining and it smelled like the forest when it rains. So yes it smelled nice.

The photo was taken on the Idaho side of Lookout Pass. I love it along streams under the canopy where cedars grow. It's almost time to harvest some cedar to make smudge sticks once the sage brush grows fresh. I'll use cedar sage and juniper.
