Busted! I have no good excuse. I took it off because the head band I was wearning to keep my ears and forehead warm was pushing my glasses down and I was riding pretty slow on the bike path out of traffic. I was kind of wondering if anyone would notice.
The only time I did need a helmet (on the bike) I had it on as I was hit by a car and ended up on my head. It saved my ass.
You know, I love my ski helmet but I hate my bike helmets. I did wear that helmet the rest of the day I want you to know.
It really wasn't that bad Monica. My nose didn't run or anything. I layered just right for it. There's a trick to that. With the exception of the helmet that pushed down on my head band that in turn pushed down on my glasses. At noon it was about 60 and after work it was 65 or so and I was down to shorts and jersey on my way home from work. (with a big back pack of course) Perfect temps for cycling. I ended up with 19 miles for the day. Not a lot but on the other hand not exactly nothing.

That photo makes me dizzy! I'm so glad you didn't drop your camera!
And I 2nd Megan's comment on your bike helmet!
Thanks Diane. I know this view well. The best part of my day is always on the bike. I had the camera strap around my wrist.
