The Bear Grass is blooming in Montana. Now and then I'll see one and the top is broken off, like something came along and ate it.

WOw!! That's glorious!! I've never seen that plant before, thanks for posting it!
You've probably seen it from a distance as it looks different up close. It's an alpine plant in the North West. I suspect it grows in the Lake Louise area.
That's really neat. I've never seen anything like it before.
