Tamarack Larch
I haven't posted any cyber trees lately. Here's a young Tamarack /Larch tree about to change color and drop its needles for the winter. I think the Tamarack is my favorite tree. This one was deep in the forest along a stream enjoying a bit of warmth from the sun before winter settles in.

That tree is so beautiful! I love the color of the needles! The light really makes the color pop out!
It's interesting to know your favorite tree. But what is your favorite wind direction?
My favorite wind direction is east. (out of the east) But that's only when I'm in Montana. When I'm here in Washington I prefer a west wind.
I have always wondered what type of tree that is, we have the odd one around here! Mind you... in my books, any tree is a good one!
I feel the same way jules, hug a tree today. Thanks for that last one too BTW.
