Here is a photo of Curt's new dog. They have another new pup but I think this one is named Blue. Curt can tell you about it in comments if he is reading and wants to. It's some kind of a sheep dog. I think it is really cool looking, but it doesn't like me. It has a highly unusual pelt.I'm guessing, but I think the Photo is by Curt. And that's a very nice photo too Curt.

Why doesn't he like you?
I don't know why he doesn't like me. Most dogs like me, but he just backed up and growled when he saw me. They said he doen't like men.
Hmm. That's too bad.
Maybe if you get to hang out with him long enough he'll grow to like you.
I'm sure he probably would but I won't be around enough. He'll probably just grow out of it as he is so young. It was kind of funny actually.

He's supposed to be a Mini Australian Sheppard, but if you look at the mits on that fella, I don't know.
It's nothing against you, Don. Debbie's dad comes over every day, as does my dad, and he growls at both of them for awhile before succumbing to a gentle and patient hand. It is kind of funny, and we don't understand it... our only guess is that someone from his original home (a man, probably) was less than tolerant of him.
Anyway, I'm not sure about the sheep part, but I do know he is a cattle dog. That part is evident when I walk with him and he constantly nips at my heels. I guess he is trying to keep me in line. Good luck with that!
Yes he does look more like a cow dog now that you mention it. I hope he gets over these things. You might have to get him a cow to play with.
