Megan, that's a century I've done a number of times and I'm not exactly sure what the weather was like that year or what year for that matter. Apple Century in Wenatchee. It used to be the first weekend of June and it can be really windy along the Columbia. I do know that the photo was in the morning, and it might have been cool with the wind chill.
I notice that I have an aero bar on my bike in case I get caught out alone in the wind with no one to block. Usually I don't like having those things on my bike. But over there is't a good idea.

It must have been chilly for leg and arm warmers!

That is an awesome shirt!
I liked that jersey as it fit me well, but it wasn't all that technical. I wore it out.
I think I own the same pair of pink bike gloves LOL. I'm just giving you a hard time. But really, I think I do.
Nice photo. I'd even call it sexy. Do you feel empowered by it? It's a power photo, for sure, especially with the tongue sticking out.
I probably still had some power in my legs at that point but it was probably used up by the end of the day.
Nice of you to say sexy though. That's empowering :)
